I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor here in the state of New York. I earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Bonaventure, then went on to receive a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Canisius College. I have a vast knowledge and expertise in mental health, having worked with many different mental health and substance abuse diagnoses, client populations, treatment modalities, lifestyles, and backgrounds. Over the years I have acquired experience working with clients and their families in outpatient agency settings, inpatient treatment settings, psychiatric hospitalization settings, and home and community-based settings. She prides herself on supporting her clients in a person-centered fashion, providing clients with an empathic, ethical, trusting, and judgment-free counseling experience. I believe that the beauty of counseling lies in helping others feel comfortable enough to be themselves, safe enough to be vulnerable, and empowered enough to take action steps needed to make the change they want to see in their lives become a reality.
