About Tuera Holland, MSW, LSW, MBA

Tuera Holland (she/her) is a master’s level clinician licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. She acquired her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy & Practice with the goal of providing psychotherapy to populations experiencing complex and ambient trauma as a result of marginalization. Her services include individual, marriage, premarital, pre-engagement, family and group counseling. Tuera’s clinical experience includes assisting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, race-based trauma, LGBTQIA concerns, eating concerns and disorders, suicidal ideation, nonsuicidal self-injury, PTSD, self-image concerns, academic distress, work-related stress, family conflict, relationship concerns and isolation.
Tuera’s goal is to create a space in which clients feel safe as well as empowered as they explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviors. She uses a client-centered approach, maintaining space for each client to determine their own goals for treatment. Ultimately, she aims to restore clients with a sense of control and balance. Tuera is trained in trauma-informed care and especially cognizant of the ways in which one’s social environment impacts their health and development.
