About Tavajah Hunter, LMHC

Hi, I’m Tavajah Hunter, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor committed to creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring their concerns. I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals from all walks of life in various clinical settings, helping people of all backgrounds and ages manage their mental health. I frequently work with those navigating anxiety, stress, anger, and major life transitions.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, and principles of positive psychology. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and believe that healing happens through collaboration and mutual respect. In our work together, you can expect a nonjudgmental space where your experiences are honored, and your goals are at the forefront. My role is to walk beside you, offering guidance, insight, and tools as you move toward growth and resilience.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but it’s a meaningful step toward creating the life you want. I believe everyone has the ability to heal, and therapy can be a powerful tool for gaining clarity, building self-awareness, and fostering lasting change. You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone—I’m here to support you on your path to wellness.

I look forward to meeting you!
