About Samuel Omolade, PMHNP-BC

I, Samuel Omolade, bring with me over 7 years of valuable experience in the mental health field. My journey has led me through various roles, including serving as a behavioral health nurse at Jacobi Medical Center, Nix Hospital, and Perimeter Behavioral Health. Additionally, I have contributed as a consultant at King Haven Counseling Group.

As a dedicated and highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my expertise extends across the spectrum of psychiatric conditions. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, autism-related aggression, PTSD, insomnia, geriatrics, and a variety of other mental health disorders. My commitment lies in delivering comprehensive and personalized care to my patients, collaborating seamlessly with psychologists, psychiatrists, and other team members.

In addressing anxiety concerns, I apply evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and medication management. Through my empathetic approach, I strive to create a secure and supportive environment, enabling patients to openly discuss their concerns and develop effective coping strategies.

My practice also involves successfully assisting individuals battling depression, where I tailor treatment plans to meet their unique needs. Embracing a holistic approach, I combine therapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to provide robust support on their journey to recovery.

My path to becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) has been marked by determination and a profound passion for mental health care. It began with earning a bachelor’s degree from Western Governors’ University. Following this, I completed my MSN program and pursued certification as a PMHNP, successfully passing the rigorous national certification exam. This achievement reflects my proficiency in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders, solidifying my commitment to the field of mental health care.
