My practice focuses and specializes in helping individuals to heal by providing the necessary tools and resources individuals need to reach their full potential. My practice utilizes a strength-based, solution-focused approach to counseling and healing. The focus is not on an individuals pathology or diagnosis, but to help clients identify and focus on their strengths and supports that will to empowerment overcoming barriers and reaching their full potential in life.
While I consider my therapeutic approach eclectic, my specialty is solution-focused brief therapy or SFBT. As a solution focused therapist, I focus on the individual’s goals and not their problem (s) that bought them into therapy. Using the SFBT approach, my goal is to direct the client towards achieving their vision of solutions.
