I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. I earned my Master of Education from the University of West Georgia and an Educational Specialist Degree in counseling from Argosy University, Sarasota, Florida. I have over 21 years experience in an educational setting and eight years in private practice.

My counseling style is genuine and practical. My empathic stance focuses on the client’s needs and strengths. I incorporate a myriad of evidence-based therapeutic practices: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS), Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional (CMIP), Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (C-DBT), and I am trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping).
