About Osato Egonmwan

Are you doing well for yourself in life but there’s a part of you that feels like you haven’t done enough, or achieved enough ? Did you grow up in an emotionally abusive environment that made you feel unloved and held you to high unrealistic expectations? Well I get it ! even though everything else in your life is going well. There’s a part of you that has been raised to suppress your own wants, emotional needs, and the ability to express yourself as a means of survival. Often told by family or culture to be seen but not to be heard. Holding to a lifelong personal belief that there’s no such thing as the right time to seek therapy. Every moment is the right moment to grow. I encourage you to take steps towards what matters. I work with 1st and 2nd generation adult children of immigrants, navigating intergenerational trauma, life transitions, bi-cultural identity, and sexual orientationMy approach to therapy is warm, relaxed, and direct. I believe change is individual and oftentimes, progress is a marathon, not a sprint. I go according to your abilities, meeting you where you are and working from there, and here is where we cross paths. If you’re ready to chat about what our therapeutic work could be like or ready to schedule, let’s chat.
