About Liz Hughes, LPC

You spend a lot of your time worrying that the worst case scenario will come true. You can’t stop your thoughts from repeating in your head and it’s impacting your sleep. You’re exhausted from pretending like things are fine, yet you keep saying yes to family and friends when you really want to say no. I can help. Imagine the ability to be present with the people you love, and the confidence to live the life you pictured. I use evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness-based tools to help women like you see the changes they want. Additionally, the therapeutic relationship is something I respect and approach with compassion. I do my best to show up with you the way I would want to be treated.
Your time is valuable, and I want you to see progress as soon as possible. To keep us accountable, I use goal setting and regular assessments to measure progress and check on symptoms, at no extra cost to you. As a biracial Latina, I am familiar with multicultural and feminist approaches and take these aspects into perspective when working with my clients.
I know there is no one size fits all approach to therapy. I use an individualized, non-judgmental approach to meet your unique needs. If you’re ready to get started, visit me on my website & schedule a complimentary phone call today. I look forward to doing this work with you!
