About Living Adventures, LLC

Hello. My name is Najlah. I am not sure what you are in need of right now. The one thing that I do know, is that you are here for a reason. Looks like we have the same common goal. That is, Change. Things are hard right now. You’re confused, you want clarity on where you are and how you got there. The advice from friends and family is no longer enough. Come chat with me, a licensed mental health counselor. Allow me to provide a safe space where you can utilize the proper skills to lead you into a more comfortable place in life. A place where happiness has new meaning. Where you can learn how to challenge negative thoughts and focus on living a more fulfilling life.

A little bit about me. I started as a behavioral therapist, aiding families with children who have an autism diagnosis. I aided the children and their families learn positive behaviors and unlearn unwanted behaviors. During that time I attended Eastern Nazarene College and graduated with a masters degree in marriage and family therapy. I then worked at a community agency as a mental health counselor helping individuals, couples and families with many different mental health disorders. While working for the agency I obtained my license as a mental health counselor and then became a clinical supervisor for a year before deciding to go full time at my private practice.

My main areas of expertise are helping individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships in general.

When I’m not at work, I am with my family. I have a four year old girl and a two year old boy. I also have a furry baby named Bella. We love to watch movies, go for walks or do anything that entails a good meal. I enjoy reading, when I have some time to myself, spending time with close family and friends, or doing something alone (yes, I’m a huge introvert).

If you would like to know more about me feel free to contact me. Thank you and always remember, change can only begin with taking that first step.
