My name is Kim Bishop Johnson and I am a Michigan based Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience working as a psychotherapist, 10 year experience as a support coordinator/case manager. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADD. I have helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
I attended William Tyndale Bible college for my undergraduate degree and Spring Arbor University for my graduate degree in counseling. I have completed training to provide supervision to limited license professional counselors working toward full licensure.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in self care and the development of positive coping skills. My faith has given me an empathic heart for my community and a desire for service.
