About Johnette Walser, MSW, LCSWA, RYT-200
Welcome! Maybe you are here because you are feeling unheard, devalued, unseen, stressed or confused. No matter the reason, you have taken the first step towards wholeness. Offer yourself gratitude. I specialize in working with BIPOC teens and women (including educators, organizers and activists) who are dealing with depression, anxiety, life transitions, college & graduate school concerns, and racial trauma. I utilize CBT, Narrative, Acceptance, Solution Focused Brief Therapies AND nature, and mind-body approaches to help you connect with your experiences more fully.
I operate from a Trauma Informed, Anti-Oppression, Social Justice, and Resilience perspective – meaning that I recognize that there are systems and environments under which we all live that create stress and trauma AND I believe that you have the power and inner wisdom to work through hardships and that together we can work towards healing and liberation.
I offer a safe, brave and inclusive space for you to process your choices, feelings, and needs with someone who will center you, validate you, accept you and empathize with you. My goal is to help you bring forth your own wisdoms and learn new skills. Take the next step and contact me to begin your healing journey.
