Welcome to your mental journey. I am Dr. Jasmine Kearse, psychiatrist and therapist committed to catering treatments to your individual needs. One of my favorite lines to say is, “the only difference between you and those who you perceive as having it together is coping skills.” As a psychiatrist, I can tell you a misconception is that I will prescribe everyone medications to make them dopey or feel like a zombie. Let me tell you that is just untrue. My main goal is to assist you in strengthening your wellbeing, confidence, and mental health. Will some require medications, yes and that’s okay, but not everyone will need medicines which is why I offer therapy. Those who do need some medication management trust me that the goal is to help you feel stable, then slowly remove the medications over time. Together we can build a foundation that you will stand on for yourself, your loved ones, your community, and your experiences. This journey is not easy, but you can do this, and I would love the opportunity to provide holistic therapy options to suit your needs. My practice is virtual not just because of the pandemic but to give you a chance to be in the environment and setting that is most comfortable for you. The second reason my practice is virtual is to reach any person in the state of GA. I am here to meet you where you are and go along beside you to get to where you want to be. As your services are individualized, I do not accept insurance; however, you can be provided with a superbill to attempt reimbursement from your insurance company. You will be able to use your insurance for medications, labs, and any ordered imaging studies. Let’s get started!!
