About Ja'Naye Granberry ACSW 116547

Advocate for Intimate Partner Violence, sexual assault, and gun violence survivors. I have worked in the community with all populations for the last 10 years. I am a certified Domestic Violence counselor, Grief Informed Professional, and Social Worker, earning my Master of Social Work from Delaware State University. I am a Yoga Teacher and hold certifications in trauma-informed and grief yoga.

I work to create a safe and supportive space for us to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences, to provide validation, guidance, and interventions to help improve well-being. Cultivating an environment that emphasizes safety, choice, and empowerment, and making sure to incorporate trauma-informed practices into my yoga teachings (and yoga is for every body). I include the use of grounding techniques and being aware of potential triggers. My commitment is DEEP, driven by a desire to advocate for mental health, trauma support, and well-being within the Black Therapy Community, and to contribute to the overall healing and empowerment of all individuals.

Having personally experienced the profound impact of grief and the triggers to follow, I understand the need for a safe and nurturing place where individuals can heal, share their pain, and find their strength through that.
