About Chanese Thomas
As a therapist, I deeply value the relationship between myself and my clients. I realize the decision to seek support is both courageous and terrifying; therefore, I intentionally create a relaxed, comfortable and safe space for you to express yourself in your own way. I consider myself a “wounded healer,” and from these lived experiences, I hope to empower you to create new and healthy ways of thinking.
One of my main goals as a clinician is to ensure that you feel heard and supported as you explore your past, present, and future selves. My therapeutic style has been described as person-centered and strengths-based. I work hard to understand and highlight the “big picture” of your life to ensure that the skills and therapeutic strategies used are tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. I am ready and eager to listen and learn, as well as provide empathy and compassion. I look forward to working collaboratively on your healing and personal growth journey.
