About Ariel Harris LCSW
At times we may feel that there’s no one that can understand us or fear not looking like the “strong” friend. We struggle to talk about our emotions and often wear masks out of the belief that nothing will change.
Do you struggle to take up space in conversations or in a room due to lack of confidence? Or constant feelings of inadequacy due to struggles in managing high expectations placed upon you? Are you a person that struggles to show your body love and compassion? Have you had a history of disordered eating and want to work towards unsubscribing from diet culture and embrace the skin you’re in?
Are you single and/or dating and feeling burnt out from endlessly scrolling the same apps and feeling defeated? Has your history of people pleasing behavior resulted in you feeling your relationships with others aren’t reciprocal?
Are you a “late bloomer” when it comes to dating and struggling to stay ahead in how to best navigate the process?
Are you a teenager that struggles to communicate with your parents and feel like a burden? A teen that keeps your feelings locked inside and struggles to give your self compassion? How about difficultly adjusting to new expectations and responsibilities that come from getting older and wanting to fit in?
Whether, you have a small circle of friends/no friends, or dealing with transitional changes in life, depression, loneliness, or even really crappy Tinder dates. You deserve to invest in your self-care and carve out time to increase your insight and solely focus on you and your current needs at that moment.
If any of this speaks to you I encourage you to take the leap, even if you’re scared we can do this together!
